New campaign Faces For The Forces has arranged for stars to send their personal messages of goodwill to troops at home and abroad.
Pixie Lott, Holly Willoughby, Gavin Henson, Bruce Forsyth, Joe McElderry and loads of other celebrities and politicians have recorded video messages, which are posted on a giant wall at www.facesfortheforces.com.
There are also thousands of recordings from members of the public, all collected from citizen reporters at www.winkball.com. The aim is to have a million messages by 23 December.
The MoD hav agreed to send a CD of the messages to soldiers at home and abroad.
‘We want to encourage as many people as possible to get online, come to the site and record their goodwill messages to show our continued support and respect for the important job our brave and selfless young men and women do, no matter how far away they are,’ says WinkBall co-founder Dr James Ohene-Dja.
