Pop starlet Pixie Lott claims that she will always be loyal to music no matter how much the film industry comes calling.
The 19-year-old blonde beauty, who is set to break into the US market next year, admitted that music will always be her “passion” despite embarking on a budding acting career.
She said: “I love a bit of everything, acting, dancing, singing, but music is my passion I would never be able to live without that.”
In an exclusive interview with the DailyStar.co.uk, the MamaDo singer told of her excitement at taking on America and was hopeful of what she could achieve across the Pond.
She said: I’m going to America next February, promoting music and doing a few other bits, we’ll just see how it goes and see what happens out there but I’m excited about it.
“It’s harder to crack because obviously it’s such a massive country and it’s very different from the UK, so I think you have to use different tactics but I’ll give it a go, so we’ll see.”
Pixie, who has just starred in her first movie, Fred, a tale of teen angst and romance with American Youtube sensation Lucas Cruikshank, explained how she was intending to take some time out over Christmas for a bit of R&R.
She added: “I’m really looking forward to seeing my family and friends over Christmas and I’m going ski-ing which will be a nice break.”
Pixie soared to success in 2009 with her debut single Mama Do and has had a hit album, seven top 20 singles and has launched her own fashion label.
She added: “I’m writing my new album next year, am really excited about it and have lots of collaborations that are planned. I’m just really looking forward to 2011.”
And so are we Pixie!
