Pixie Lott has revealed that she has arranged some big-name collaborations for her second album.
The ‘Cry Me Out’ singer told Digital Spy on the orange carpet of this year’s Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards that she has been working hard on the follow-up to 2009′s Turn It Up and that her sound has developed.
“Writing the album is going pretty well,” she said. “I’ve just been in the studio every day and I’m just determined to make sure you guys like it.
“It’s still pop stuff, but maybe a little more soulful. That’s the kind of thing that I’m into. That influence is stronger on this album.
“There are a couple of really cool collaborations on the album and I’ve already worked with some big people, but I can’t say who they are just in case those tracks don’t make the final cut. But I can say that they are really, really exciting.”
The Wanted have previously expressed interest in a duet with Lott.
The Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards air in the UK on Friday, April 8 at 8pm on Nickelodeon and nick.co.uk.
